Welia lives in Vienna, where she helps shape the music scene both behind the turntables and as a promoter and part of the Sama Recordings label. She is interested in gender dynamics in electronic music and hosts a regular radio show on Retreat Radio in Sweden. Welia is a monthly resident at Rhiz and part of the band Ausgesprochen: Neu.
