S.verin has been spinning records since 2008, starting out on a pair of technics and an old vestax mixer. Drawing inspiration from Detroit-based labels like UR and Metroplex as well as local labels like Trust and Yoshi, S.verin quickly developed his unique and playful style, which blends breaks with a touch of funk. In addition to performing at clubs and events around the city, he is also a member of Funkroom, an ambitious collective of DJs, record collectors and dance music lovers who create a space to enjoy music in its diverse forms.
