Cucina povera is the solo project of Dr Maria Rossi, Karelian-Luxembourgian scholar who has written extensively on Palestine. It is imperative that we see beyond October 7th into history recognising the blatant and continuous human rights violations Palestinians have been subjected to for the best part of a century. We must duly recognise our own undeniable responsibility under the guise of massive Western complicity funding the genocidal machine, also beyond current temporal ramifications and under various forms. This is a time where we see free speech repressed everywhere we look. We can only hope that the coming days, weeks, months will shape up a society built on dialogue and an eventual recognition that all deserve basic human dignity.”
