In the movie “Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future” a cable network has created a new form of very short, subliminal advertisements called “Blipverts”. This new technology has only one flaw: when lazy and fat people watch them they explode. Having a bit of a mix-fatigue, I found by compressing time I can concentrate actually better on specific sounds. Disclaimer: don’t be lazy.
