SLIKBACK live
Slikback is an electronic producer from Nairobi, Kenya mainly focusing on experimental music, noise, bass and high intensity rhythms. Over the years his sound has morphed into various forms all meant to be an expression of different ideas and emotions. Unbound by any specific thing, his unique blend of sounds can be found in his multiple releases.
YAO BOBBY & SIMON GRAB live
The Togolese Rapper and political activist Yao Bobby collaborates with Swiss noisemaker Simon Grab. An intense sound battle between energetic rhymes fired into a dark sound world of raw electronic bass pulsations with a dubby punk attitude, produced on analog feedback electronics. A very raw and improvised form of live experimental hip hop – ‚Freeform Rap and Noise’. In their unique soundworld, each bring a totally singular style & attitude to create a kind of next generation free form rap, noise & synthetic rhythm concoction coaxed out of improvised feedback signals and dynamic microphone control. Yao’s lyrics (in his mother tongue Ewé, french and also partly in english) deal with the current injustices in Africa and the problems of the colonial aftermath of the west & its remaining grip on the continent. Whether you are able to understand each lyric or not, the unstoppable flow, the versatile dynamic range, and the emotions in the frequencies (both voice and electronics) convey life-force & a sense of resistance. A raw, honest attitude and forward momentum that is unmistakeable in its intent to crush borders sonically, socially, and politically.

ADINA CAMHY live
Adina Camhy researches, deconstructs and remixes. Her work spans across various media such as sound, video and visual arts. In her music she interweaves electronics, field recordings, voice and effects, creating subtle, alienated and eery fragmented soundscapes between noise, ambient, drone and industrial. In her current work process, which builds on residencies in Trieste in 2023 (AIRTrieste) and 2024 (Clanz), she focusses on the rugged landscape of the carst / krst / karst in the Capitalocene. Violent human practices are stored in the area in the form of traces, incisions and memories: remnants of wars, extraction, trade routes. Through her sound she tries to construct thread figures between human- and non-human narrations, incidents of a present, echoes of a past and a future yearning for a utopia of solidarity.
