ISAIAH HULL

A poet and rapper who is part of the London-based collective life is beautiful, where he frequently collaborates with producer Aloisius. Hull’s music glistens in a ghostly way — urgent and escapist in equal measure. He calls himself a “stand-up tragedian.” Above minimal production reminiscent of Triad God or Dean Blunt, and dark glitch-imbued beats that sound like they’re emitting from turntable on its last legs, Hull shares his heartfelt and diaristic poems-as-tracks — witty and harrowed and never shying from the grim political realities of life in the UK. Combining impeccable flow with singular production, Hull is an unstoppable force to be reckoned with; his debut album is shaking the foundations of experimental UK hip hop.

MARSHRUTKA

Marshrutka aka Margo Dubovska is a Ukrainian artist, DJ, and co-curator of the Kriegsbilder event series, based in Vienna. Weaving emotional narratives that often reflect her personal experiences, her sets are genre-fluid, eclectic, aggressive and dramatic.

YARX

yarx is a Vienna-based DJ, born and raised in Turkey. Their sound blends bass music such as dubstep, grime and jungle with deconstructed club, and percussion-driven tracks with influences from Middle Eastern music. Always exploring new sonic territories, yarx builds sets with raw emotional intensity that drives the dance floor. With roots in classical music and cello, they bring an added depth and sensitivity to their approach.

MARA NEVER

Mara Never is a curator, writer, musician and DJ who is currently based in Vienna, Austria. She is co-running the event series Augend&Addend.

MURSAL

Mursal is a Vienna based performer and DJ. Her background in dance shapes the way she listens to, selects and plays music. Her DJ-sets are ranging from heavy percussions to grainy noisescapes.

YYNONA

yynona aka Winona Hudec (they/he) is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and sound maker whose work drifts between music, visual art, and curation. Drawing from experiences as a graphic designer, musician and co-curator of the Vienna-based event series Augend&Addend, their practice is informed by playful experimentation and the cross-contamination of styles, genres, and disciplines.
