DAMIEN DUBROVNIK live
Formed in 2009, Damien Dubrovnik is a Danish electronic duo of Christian Stadsgaard and Loke Rahbek, founders of the Copenhagen based record label Posh Isolation. In their day job as label managers, Stadsgaard and Rahbek have been instrumental in establishing the city’s unique and prolific noise and punk community. As a label Posh Isolation has outgrown its humble beginning, achieving the cult status of cultural entity that serves as an outlet for noise, industrial and experimental music and art through more than 150 releases that have reached remarkably wide international fan following.
While individually active with various solo projects and other collaborations, Damien Dubrovnik is the duo’s longest running project that has published work across 5 LPs, a handful of sought after cassette releases and compilations on their own Posh Isolation imprint and Luke Younger’s Alter. Notching up numerous performances throughout the world, Damien Dubrovnik’s live is infamous for its raw intensity and expressiveness, incorporating elements of performance art and body acoustics into their powerful physical sound where harsh industrial meets poetic ambience to leave long lasting impression.
SAMUEL KERRIDGE live
Samuel Kerridge, with his signature sonic arsenal, stands alone in the worlds of rhythm and noise. A singular artist, his music is to be appreciated on its own terms. His productions find a strange poetry in illegible communications, stripping meaning down to raw emotional response. Each track is a visceral slab of power, aiming to deconstruct any preconceived notions by means of a cross pollinated methodology. Whether experienced via his releases on Downwards records, Blueprint, Horizontal Ground, and his own imprint (and esteemed Berlin event series) Contort, or live, the listener is subject to overwhelming waves of hyper-sensory stimulation. Whatever form his music takes, Samuel Kerridge continues to evolve, always pushing the limits of sound and space.
NACHTBOTE live
High energy fractal arabesques and endless light-headed dervishes from this Viennese constructivist & knife stabber Hanno Schnegg – beloved for his deepsea synth journeys with Raju Arara aka Rani Bageria on Antwerpen’s finest Ultra Eczema, his monikers Schnell & Schneller, and his selftitled cassette “Nachtbote” on SF Broadcasts, long sold out at source. Expect flesh piercing sawtooths, swamp wobbling sines & outer planetary triangle jewels melting down your subconsciousness into little hypercubes only to let it remodel again into one giant, heavy, white egg.
