Forest Factory is the duo of fellow nomads Elvin Brandhi + Andreas Trobollowitsch. Each uses self-made turntables activated by wooden plates and branches, alongside sampler and voice, to create a unique acoustic repertoire, suffusing computational and organic tonalities. Redefining themselves in a range of contexts has lent fluidity and plurality to the topology of their aesthetic. Their vinyl debut HOLZWEG (out 19 June) is a compositional amalgamation of recording sessions made in diverse ecosystems: Auditorium Novecento, Naples (2023), Ruang MES 56, Yogyakarta (2024), as well as their Japan tour in 2024.
